OH MY GOODNESS YOU GUYS!!!!!!! I have the *NEW* JulieG Holiday 2013 Frosted Gum Drops collection for you!!!!!!! How incredibly gorgeous are these????

As you've already probably seen, work/play/polish is the gorgeous hand model again for the Gum Drops polish. She did an amazing job and I am honored to be one of the first people to show you these amazing gems!

This collection was inspired by jewel tone wrapped candies. It's funny because I saw a commercial for some wrapped candies a few months ago...but I don't think the commercial was actually about candies!

You may be thinking to yourself, "Hmm, these don't LOOK like holiday polishes..." but OH-EM-GEE they ARE!!!!!! I'll explain everything as I go through the swatches. Read on for some beautiful eye candy!...nail candy...? =D

You'll notice that on these bottles of Frosted Gum Drops, there is a sticker on the cap of each bottle that gives you instructions on how to apply it. Each bottle also says "Textured Nail Color" on the front. I think this is a fantastic addition to the Gum Drops bottle design.

First up is a magenta-red textured polish. As soon as I painted the first stroke on my first nail, I fell in LOVE! This is a fun color for the holidays and can honestly be used all year round. As with the previous Gum Drops collection, this applied very evenly and smooth. It was opaque in just 2 coats and obviously there is no top coat with these, though I'm sure they'd sparkle like crazy with a top coat on!

The second one I swatched is called Mistletoe. Very fitting, right? This pine green polish is perfect for creating that darling little mistletoe on your nails. Can't you just smell that fresh pine through your computer? I can!...or is it that candle I'm burning in the background? Shown is 2 coats with no base or top coat.

I am a SUCKER for blue polish and this one is NO exception! Here is Sleigh Ride! Let me preface this by saying that it *did* slightly stain my nails, but I also didn't use a base coat. You may want to apply a base coat with this one, or just use it on top of another polish for nail art. With that being said, I LOVE the color payoff with this. It sparkles, it shines, and it makes me want to go on a freaking sleigh ride! I used 2 coats and the color built up fantastically!

Sugar Plum Fairy! This deep purple polish makes me dance around in my own head! During the holidays, you don't normally think of colors except red, green, silver, and gold. The blues and purples can sometimes get pushed into a corner, but not here. With this color, you can create a unique holiday nail art look or wear it on all ten fingers for that softer, more glamorous, holiday feel. This one is definitely in my top 3! Shown is 2 coats.

Gift of Gold is not your typical gold color. It doesn't have that metallic gold feel, but more of a yellow gold tint to it. Sort of like a 24k gold piece of jewelry. I appreciate the fact that this one does have a more yellow/orange/brown tint to it because I don't own anything like it in my entire polish collection. If you are into yellow gold, then this one should definitely make it into your polish drawer!

Last in the collection is Silver Bells. I applied 2 coats of this for the pictures below. The first coat might seem a little thin, but don't worry. Your 2nd coat will cover that right up! This one really reminds me of tinsel. The glimmer this polish gives off is unreal! Can you even imagine what it would look like with top coat?!

Here is a recap of all the colors in this collection! My top 3 would have to be Silver Bells, then Sleigh Ride, then Sugar Plum Fairy...but let's be honest. HOW COULD I EVEN CHOOSE?!
