Wet n Wild Cosmetics - Swatches and Review

Wednesday, October 16, 2013

Hey guys! Today I have a review on some Wet n Wild products for you as well as a video fauxtorial on how to get a great makeup look using just these Wet n Wild products! Below is everything I was sent.

You can find all of these products at Walgreens or even your local Walmart. Here is the price breakdown:
  • Wet n Wild Mega Protein Mascara Very Black - $1.99
  • Wet n Wild Fergie Eyeshadow Primer - $4.99
  • Wet n Wild Fergie Creme Liner - $4.99
  • Wet n Wild Color Icon Collection Eye Shadow Trio - $2.99
  • Wet n Wild Color Icon Lipliner Pencil - $0.99

Okay, let's start with a pretty basic staple in any girl's makeup bag. Eye shadow primer. I am super impressed with this one. It has a thick formula, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. After you apply it, the primer turns into this soft, powdery finish that leaves a perfect canvas for shadow.

Next up is an eye shadow trio. Now you know I love my trios from WnW because they usually create a perfect palette for a specific look. When I saw that it was blue, I got a little scared. Think...Mimi from The Drew Carey Show...

Anyway, since these shadows aren't very pigmented, you can build up the color as much or as little as you want. You have a lot of room to play.

This mascara I wasn't impressed with but that's only because I NEED waterproof mascara unless it's just SO amazing that it doesn't need to be. It might work for you so go try it! At $1.99, you honestly can't beat it.

I was SO excited to try this creme liner because I really do LOVE these types of products. The formula was amazing! The only thing I didn't like was the brush. I felt like it wasn't thin enough and the bristles kept fraying which made it difficult to create a thin, even line.

Finally, the lip liners! I love them! They are creamy, the colors are amazing, and they are only $0.99! There are 6 different shades to choose from and they complement the WnW lipsticks perfectly.
