Michael Todd Soniclear System

Hi friends! Today i have a quick review on the Michael Todd Soniclear cleaning system. I have not used other brands so I have nothing to compare it to, but I will say that I love this one.

Michael Todd Soniclear | Kat Stays Polished

In this kit, you get the charging station with cord and the Soniclear system with 2 brush heads - one for face and the other for body. I think that's really neat because you can really multitask with it.

Michael Todd Soniclear | Kat Stays Polished

The brush heads are so incredibly soft so you don't have to worry about painful scratching as it cleans your face. The vibrations are what took me a while to get used to. It's a little intense if you're not used to it, but it won't take you long to really enjoy how well it cleans. I used my regular gel cleanser with this and it worked fine. It lathers up real nice and I do feel like I get a good, deep clean. Just make sure to thoroughly rinse off your brush and dry it after each use.

Michael Todd Soniclear | Kat Stays Polished

Overall, I'd say I had a very pleasant experience with this brush cleaning system. It really got down into my pores and flushed away all the dirt - a lot better than just my hands could do.

Austin Lloyd Baby Toy Subscription Box Review

Hello all! Hope you had a great weekend. Today's post is a subscription box post but definitely not beauty-related. This is a toy subscription box, the October edition, that is customized to the age of your child. I got to review one for the 0-5 month range and I'm so excited for our bundle of joy to arrive so she can play with these!

I first want to say how awesome it was to open this and see that it was personalized to Baby Dinges. So cute! The package is decorated with a ribbon and some inserts that let you know what age these toys are intended for and what they are specifically. Let's see what we got!

Austin Lloyd - 0-5 Months Toy Subscription Box | Kat Stays Polished

Here you can see there are 4 toys and an interactive book.

Austin Lloyd - 0-5 Months Toy Subscription Box | Kat Stays Polished

The play level of the box sent to me is 0-5 Months. We are 3 weeks or less away from our little girl coming into this world and I couldn't be more excited!

Austin Lloyd - 0-5 Months Toy Subscription Box | Kat Stays Polished

This book is the cutest. Not only is it interactive the entire way though but the graphics are also really cute. I can't wait to read this to our little one!

Austin Lloyd - 0-5 Months Toy Subscription Box - Finger Circus Game | Kat Stays Polished

Next is an elephant rattle toy. It's nice and soft and will be perfect for our little girl. I hope she likes playing with toys. I'm definitely okay with the colors being so gender neutral. I'm not a fan of pink for EVERYTHING for girls anyway.

Austin Lloyd - 0-5 Months Toy Subscription Box - Rattle Buddy: Piper | Kat Stays Polished

Here is another cute and soft elephant toy. This one is shaped so that she can grasp it easier. It has the cutest little face!

Are you a fan of clowns? This one is quite adorable and I love the ringlet shape to this toy. It's soft just like the previous toys so I'm sure it'll be just fine for her.

Austin Lloyd - 0-5 Months Toy Subscription Box - Jasper Ringlet | Kat Stays Polished

Last we have another clown rattle. I probably won't be giving this to her until she is closer to 4 or 5 months since the material is a bit harder than the other toys. I do love how colorful all of the rings are on this rattle.

Austin Lloyd - 0-5 Months Toy Subscription Box - Happy Clown Rattle | Kat Stays Polished

So, moms, what do you think? Each monthly subscription is $49.99, or like most sub boxes, you can sign up for 1, 3, or 6 months at a time. I'm very much looking forward to the next few weeks so that we can meet our little girl. I'll snap some pics of her playing with these awesome toys.

Black Friday at Pink Blush Maternity + a Giveaway!

Hi friends! I hope you had a fantastic Thanksgiving! Will you be shopping for Black Friday or Cyber Monday? If you're like me, I tend to do most of my deal shopping online anymore. Since I'm pregnant, I really don't feel like heading out into the big crowds and fighting my way through the lines.

Today's post is all about the AMAZING deals going on at Pink Blush Maternity - my absolute most favorite maternity shop ever! If you're not in the market for maternity clothes, no sweat - they have amazing women's fashions as well! Before I get into the details of their weekend sale, let me just show you what I wore yesterday for Turkey Day!

This is the Red Jeweled Lace Sleeve Maternity Sweater. It was *just* cool enough here in Florida for me to get away with wearing a sweater.

I don't normally love all of my pictures but this one has to be one of my favorites. Credit to hubby for telling me where to look, haha.

We are only about 3 weeks away from her due date. Do you think we'll make it that long? I'm not sure but as long as I'm rockin' some awesome PBM apparel, I'm happy. One thing about their clothes...and I'll say it time and time again...is that I don't feel super pregnant when I wear their stuff. I feel pretty and more confident about the fact that I am round and pregnant.

Here is a closeup of the sleeve detail. Isn't it just gorgeous? I about DIED when I saw it in person. It's perfect for the holidays and it's so comfy and soft.

Voloom Hair Volumizing Iron

Hey all! Tonight I have a new type of hair tool to show you. It's the Voloom Hair Volumizing Iron. My hair is so fine and flat that I always love to try new things to get some volume pumped into my hair. I figure this could be an easy way to do it.

It comes in a box like this. I love the packaging - it's so feminine but also super simple.

Voloom Hair Volumizing Iron | Kat Stays Polished

If you're not one to keep boxes to hair tools (like me) the kit comes with a carrying case. Along with the iron and the case, there is a brush/hair separator and 3 clips to help you pin back the layers of hair.

Voloom Hair Volumizing Iron | Kat Stays Polished

Here is my sad, flat-haired before picture.

Voloom Hair Volumizing Iron - Before with flat Hair | Kat Stays Polished

I started by pinning the top layer of hair away to one side. This iron is meant to volumize the under layers of hair to give you that extra bump.

Voloom Hair Volumizing Iron - Hair All Clipped! | Kat Stays Polished

According to the instructions inside, people with fine, flat, or damaged hair should set their iron between 320 and 350. I chose 330. This thing heated up QUICK! Like...less than a minute! That is one perk I absolutely love about this tool. I hate having to wait for things to heat up!

Voloom Hair Volumizing Iron - Temp Set for Fine Hair | Kat Stays Polished

The iron looks like a crimper. This is the first section of hair that I did. According to the instructions, they say to do more more than halfway down your cheek. I did about 3 iron-sections down.

Voloom Hair Volumizing Iron - First Section Voloom'd | Kat Stays Polished

After a few more sections and layers of hair, can you tell which side has been volumized?

Voloom Hair Volumizing Iron - One Side Voloom'd | Kat Stays Polished

Here is both sides done. You can most definitely tell the difference. The crimp marks DO fade out after brushing and cooling down. Honestly though, some days I think I might actually want some wavy and crimped hair. Remember those days?

Voloom Hair Volumizing Iron - Both Sides Voloom'd | Kat Stays Polished

Overall, this product has really amazed me. From the time it took me to heat up the iron to actually having my entire head done...it was less than 10 minutes total. I have NEVER been able to do a look like this in that short amount of time. Normally, anything having to do with a hot hair tool takes about 15 minutes for just one side. What do y'all think?

If you want to learn more about this product and get one for yourself, visit the Voloom website or any of their social media links listed below.

Easy Accent Nails with Decals from You Polish

Hello friends! So, I don't know about you, but nail decals and stickers make it easy to do nail art. If you haven't already heard, You Polish has some pretty neat ones that you can get in any color you want. Today I will be showing you what I did with some bow, mermaid, and bird decals. All are super easy and quick to do!

You Polish Nail Decals | Kat Stays Polished

Who knows what one of my favorite colors is? If you guessed mint then you've been paying attention! As soon as I saw these I knew exactly which polishes I wanted to use to show off this decal. I used the Greenwich St. Soiree duo from etoile. I love how the plain bow looks on top of the shimmery shades. So simple but so pretty at the same time!

Next are the mermaid decals. Of COURSE I was like...let me go get my Ariel from Sealore. I needed another purple shade so I grabbed my Seche Clever &Confident. I think it's a pretty good match-up, don't you?

For the last set of decals, I really wanted to be able to show off the birds without too many distractions. I used Mint Orchid from Creations by Lynda.

Teadora Nourishing Lip Butter - Rainforest at Dawn

Throughout this pregnancy, I have experienced overly dry lips - much more than normal. When I got the chance to review a lip butter that also acted as an exfoliant, I jumped at the chance! Behold, the Teadora Nourishing Lip Butter - Rainforest at Dawn.

Teadora Nourishing Lip Butter - Rainforest at Dawn | Kat Stays Polished

Here is a little bit about the product straight from their website:
Packed with antioxidant and vitamin-rich Buriti, Brazil Nut, Andoriba, Maracujá (Passion Fruit), Açaí oils, Cupuaçu, Murumuru, Mango butters plus Carnaúba Wax, our Rainforest at Dawn Lip Butter comes in a delicious citrusy flavor we call Laranja - which means orange in Portuguese - and provides light exfoliation and intense hydration for your lips.

Teadora Nourishing Lip Butter - Rainforest at Dawn | Kat Stays Polished

The first thing I love about this product is how much you actually get. I feel like this pot would last me a really long time, which is something I do look for in a lip product. I'm always carrying one around and the less I have to replenish, the better.

The second thing I love about it this how fragrant it is. So deliciously citrusy! If you're not into citrus, then this definitely isn't the product for you. Luckily, I am obsessed with citrusy and fruity bath and body products - this was perfect for me!

Lastly, if you dig into the pot a little, this acts as a pre-moisturizing gentle exfoliant for you lips. Yes, we all have to exfoliate those little lip flakies sometimes. Double-duty product = a-ok in my book!

Teadora Nourishing Lip Butter - Rainforest at Dawn | Kat Stays Polished

In addition to this flavor, they also have one called:
Rainforest at Dusk Lip Butter ($15) - delicious berry-chocolate flavor we call Açaí-Açu and provides light-exfoliation and intense hydration for your lips.

So what do you think? Is this a product for you? Let me know in the comments below!
