FingerPaints Enchanted Mermaid Collection

Hey guys! Today I have the FingerPaints Enchanted Mermaid Collection for you. This is an interesting textured collection that sort of mimics fishy scales or a mermaid's tail. Let me know in the comments what you think about these!

FingerPaints - Enchanted Mermaid 2014 | Kat Stays Polished

The first shade is Sea Temptress. This is a pearlescent white polish with same-shade glitters in the mix. I used 2 coats for the swatch and no top coat. I think this one is my favorite of the 4.

Underwater Enchantress is a shimmer mossy green. This shade looks the most like fish scales. Again, this is 2 coats and no top coat. Each layer dried fairly quickly so that was nice. The textures of these polishes is also pretty smooth. You won't have to worry about getting your polish caught on anything.

Tails of Love is a gorgeous blue-green shade. For some reason, this one seemed to apply a little thicker than the last 2. I still love it but it does seem a bit chunkier, right?

Lastly, Sailor's Lure is a deep sea blue shade. Again, it seems thicker than the first 2 shades but still has that scaley-textured look to it. I only used 2 coats but it looks like more. Do you like this or is it not your style?

Barielle Keys Collection - Summer 2014

Hey all! Today I have the Barielle Keys Collection for you! Have you ever been to the Keys? My husband and I went to Key West last year for our 2nd anniversary. It practically rained the entire time there! Anyway, these, 6 sunny, summery shades will keep you in the vacation mode all season long! I used Barielle base and top coats for all the swatches below.

Miami Heat is a sheer jelly red shade. I used 2-3 coats for this polish and as you can see, there is still a visible nail line. I do enjoy red shades like this though. I feel like the formula, especially for a red color, won't glop all over the place. There's just a certain place in my hear for bold jelly polishes.

Paradise in the Tropics is a deep fuchsia color. This applied in just 2 coats and application was very smooth. I have always enjoyed the formula for Barielle's cream shades. This bold fuchsia is perfect for those wild summer nights!

Barefoot in Bermuda is a hot pink cream. Because of how bright this is, it almost shows up a little red on camera. I assure you, this IS a bright pink and it will blind you! This also applied in 2 easy coats.

Topless in St Tropez is a shimmery pinky-coral color. I am obsessed with corals this season and this one is one of my favorites. I think the shimmer gives it a little bit of class. It's good for both day and night so if you are in love with corals like me, definitely pick this up!

Hawaiian Sunset is a bright shimmery orange. Who doesn't love and in-your-face bright orange? This applied in 2 easy coats and definitely screams summer, beach, and vacation. Would you rock such a bold color?

Panama Pina Colada is a soft, creamy yellow. I did have to use 3 thin coats for this polish because of how sheer yellow polishes can be. Even through some of the patchy spots, I still enjoy this creamy yellow.

I'm sure you've seen swatches of this collection floating around but have you picked any up yet? They run $8 a piece on Barielle.com so if you have a favorite, be sure to get it. I do also enjoy their protein base coat as well as their fast dry top coat so pick those up as well!

China Glaze Off Shore (Partial) Collection

Hi all! It's almost the end of the week and I'm hoping that the weather will be nice enough to go to the beach! The Off Shore collection from China Glaze is perfect for a beach mani! I have 6 shades to show you today.

China Glaze Off Shore | Kat Stays Polished

First up is this bright bubblegum pink called Float On. It's so creamy and applied in 2 coats. I have actually worn this for a few mani designs since I've gotten it.

Sun Upon My Skin is a creamy pastel yellow. As with most yellow polishes, it was a bit streaky with the first coat but covered up just fine for the most part with a 2nd coat.

Shore Enuff is a creamy light green shade that almost reminds me of key lime flavored yogurt. Always food with me, I know. It isn't too bright of a shade and it applied in 2 nice coats.

Be More Pacific is a nice green cream shade. Again, perfect in 2 coats and is just bright enough for the summer. I'm sure there's room to work it into some holiday nail art later in the year.

Dune Our Thing is a sweet berry cream shade. One thing that I've come to love about China Glaze is that their bright cream shades usually apply with such ease and look so good on the nail. This one is no different. Again, just bright enough for summer but easily something that can transition into the cooler months.

Last up is a purple cream shade called X-Ta-Sea. Cute, right? To me this was a creamy shade with a hint of jelly. It isn't as creamy as some of the other shades I tried but still very good. Only 2 coats for this one as well.

This collection has already been out for a while but have you gotten your hands on any? If so which ones? If not, which ones do you think you'd pick up?

NYC New York Color - City Samba Liquid Lipshine

Hey guys! I have some lippie products from the NYC New York City Samba Collection! I am a fan of the Liquid Lipshine products so I was very excited to try these!

NYC New York Color - City Samba - Liquid Lipshine | Kat Stays Polished

There are 3 colors in this collection - Guava, Passion Fruit, and Papaia. They are all pretty sheer, they smell sweet, and they add a really nice shine to your lips. As with most glosses, you'll have to reapply every few hours and most definitely after eating and drinking.

My favorite is definitely Papaia. I think because I can wear it every day no matter what my outfit is. It's nice and neutral and adds just a hint of shimmer. Even the Guava color isn't too pink for me. Definitely something to wear if I'm feeling a bit more girly.

You can get these for $1.99 wherever you find NYC New York Color products! Which one would you wear most often?
