Kat Stays Polished | Beauty Blog with a Dash of Life: Raining Glitter Skittles Mani

Raining Glitter Skittles Mani

Monday, June 24, 2013

Hi guys! Today's nail art is for those who are on a budget. I used all Sinful Colors polishes and loose hex glitters from the Dollar Tree.

I started out by painting my nails 2 coats of a pink, yellow, green, blue, and purple. More specifically, Sugar N Spice, Unicorn, Rise and Shine, Sugar Rush, and Sweet Tooth.

Once those coats are dry, apply one coat of a regular [not fast drying] top coat. Use a toothpick and apply same-colored glitters starting from the base of the nail all the way to the tip.

Create several vertical lines all of different length to give the illusion your nails are "raining glitter."

Add a layer of your favorite fast drying top coat after the glitters have been applied.
