More polish reviews! Today I'm bringing you part 1 of the Wet Paint Nail Glaze System. I was sent 6 base polishes, 2 top glazes, and 1 special effects top coat.

I had a lot of fun playing with all these polishes. I'll explain each one before the pic. Enjoy!

So, this first one is called "Call the Chauffeur." It's a beautiful pastel pink that's perfect for Spring. It went on perfectly with 2 coats but it dries kinda quickly so use minimal strokes and work quickly.

This is the special effect top coat I received. It's called Carmel Breeze. I used one thin coat over Call the Chauffeur. It really gives it an even more girl look. It transforms from an Easter Egg color to an elegant Spring Formal color. I'm loving this top coat so far.

Next we have "Officially a Girl." This is more like what you would wear with a French manicure in my opinion. The coverage was just okay, and as you can see there were some streak issues.

I may experiment with this one some more, but for my initial thought, it wasn't as good as the previous color.

When I put the special effect top coat over it, it made the color more bearable for me. The streaks sort of disappeared and the shimmer distracts from the imperfections in the color.

Next up is, of course, a minty aqua green color called "Shock & Aqua." Anytime I get one of these, I always think of my friend Kelly. She's somewhat of a mint green freak. Anyway, this applied just as the first color did. Pretty flawless but dries rather fast. I made a small bump on my ring finger but you can barely tell. Work quickly and use no more than 3-4 strokes when applying.

Here it is with the special effects top coat. Notice how the ring finger bump disappears. I love the way this top coat brings out the blue in this polish. It's an elegant mint...perfect for someone's bridal shower...*ahem*

Well, that's it for the pastels. I'll be back later in the week with the other 3 colors and 2 top coat glazes.
