Cult Nails - $3 Polish HaulWednesday, April 02, 2014
Remember a few weeks ago when Cult Nails had that MASSIVE $3 sale? Well, I got some polishes because...well, DUH, they were $3! I got 5 but I am only going to show you 4 of them today. I will be showing you Baker, Deal With It, You're My Dandy Lion, and Dance All Night. Unfortunately, none of these colors are available anymore but maybe one day they'll make their way back. I'm still hoping they'll bring back Clairvoyant so I can get myself a bottle...or two...or 10!
So, Baker is this gorgeous nude polish with bits of gold microglitters in it. I absolutely LOVE this color and I love how well it looks with my skin tone. The shimmer in it is perfect and I couldn't ask for anything more in a nude polish.
I don't mind wearing green polish. I don't mind wearing bright green shimmery polish. Deal With It is one of the BEST bright green shimmery polishes I own now. I have no idea why I hadn't thought to get it before. i should have more faith in Cult Nails polishes now that I've started a tiny collection. They will always look better in person. The formula is flawless. For real, enlarge the pictures and just LOOK at it.
You're My Dandy Lion is a bright yellow polish with a very subtle shimmer in it. This polish can be opaque in just 2 coats but I touched up with a super thin 3rd coat. I do love yellow polishes but I don't own many because I know yellow is hard to apply sometimes. I'm glad I got my hands on this while I had the chance.
Lastly, we have Dance All Night over You're My Dandy Lion with a little bit of glitter nail art. I got this one mostly because it's blue and green glitter. There are also tiny little copper-bronze glitters in this mix which gives this polish a whole other level of awesomeness. On my ring finger I just made little flowers with the blue and green glitters. It's on top of a yellow so, of course I thought it would be totally appropriate for Spring.
