Product Review: Vapour Organic Beauty

Ready for another polish review? Today I've got three polishes from Vapour Organic Beauty.

Here is an intro to their polishes as seen on their website:

Vapour Vernissage is a highly curated line of nail lacquers. These New Classics are chic with enough edge to keep you au courant.

Vernissage gives a super glossy shine, is long-wearing, chip resistant and smooth to the touch. We've packaged Vernissage in petite bottles to reduce the amount of unused polish that finds its way to the landfill.

Vernissage is a term artists have used since the days of the 19th Century Parisian Salons. The term refers to the night before an art opening, when artists would do frantic last minute touch ups to their canvasses. These Vernissages became raucous informal previews for selected patrons and friends of the artist.

Vapour invites you to celebrate in the spirit of a night in Paris; hear the timeless glittering laughter and champagne toasts in Vernissage 3-Free Nail Lacquer.

Vernissage 3-Free Lacquer does NOT contain the following known carcinogens:

NO Toluene
NO Dibutyl Phthalate (DHB)
NO Formaldehyde

Vernissage IS:
Non-Toxic
Safe for Children and Moms-To-Be
Cruelty Free

The bottles are $12 each and they each contain 0.25 ounces of polish. Below are a few bottle shots of the 3 colors they sent to me

Instinct | Trance | Ether

Here we have a beautiful red called Instinct. This polish is super thin so it took me 3 coats to get to my preferred opacity. Even though I had to apply 3 coats, it didn't feel thick on the nail. I really love how bright this red is. It almost reminds me of butter LONDON Pillar Box Red [one of my favorites].

My second polish is called Ether. It is a very dark blue that almost appears black. Again, I had to use 3 coats to get my preferred opacity. Same as with Instinct, it didn't feel thick on the nail. Vapour describes this as an inky midnight blue--I'd completely agree. As much as I love blues, this one is at the top of my list. I don't own a lot of colors like this so I'm glad Ether is now a part of my collection.

Lastly, we have Trance. It shows here as shimmery, but it has very slight holographic glitters in it. I haven't had a really good sunlight day around here yet, but you can sort of see the glitters in the picture. Shown below is Trance with 3 thin coats to make it opaque. I love that this could potentially be a fantastic holographic, but so far I haven't seen it yet. If I can get a good sunlight shot, I'll post an update.

Overall I love these polishes. I like the small bottles and the formula is great. I don't mind using three coats because it still remains thin on my nail.

I'd like to thank Vapour Organic Beauty for allowing me to review their polish.
