Kat Stays Polished | Beauty Blog with a Dash of Life: China Glaze Pop Top Collection

China Glaze Pop Top Collection

Friday, August 08, 2014

Hello friends and happy Friday!!! I can't wait until the weekend finally starts! Until then, here are some glitters to keep me [and you] distracted. The China Glaze Pop Top Collection is a bundle of 2 classic base shades and 6 gorgeous glitters. I'm sure you've most, if not, all of these before so I'm just going to go over them briefly.

White on White is your basic white polish, part of China Glaze's core line of polish. Shown here is just 2 coats and a layer of top coat. Definitely something you need as a staple in any polish collection.

Heart of Africa is a deep shimmery red shade. This applied in 2 coats and looks amazing. This is also part of the core line of polish so make sure you check it out the next time you're shopping for polish!

Fairy Dust is also a staple and a must-have in your collection. It is a much sought after holographic glitter top coat. I decided to swatch all the glitters over black. This is just 1 coat of Fairy Dust. I love it!

Luxe & Lush was part of the 2012 Hunger Games Collection. It is a thicker flakie top coat, almost shard-like. Shown is 1 layer of Luxe & Lush.

I Pink I Can is 1 of 3 polishes from the 2013 Breast Cancer Awareness Pink of Me collection. It's a pretty pink glitter topcoat with 2 different sized glitters. Shown is 1 coat.

Techno last showed up in 2012 as part of the Electropop collection. It had been released before then as part of another China Glaze collection - very happy to see it coming back over and over again. It's a mix of silver-y holographic glitters that really resembles a disco ball quite nicely. Shown is 1 coat.

Pizzazz was part of the 2012 Holiday Joy Collection. I love how dense the glitters are in this polish. All of the different colors totally remind me of the lights that go up during the holiday season. Because of how diverse the colors are, this glitter topper is definitely appropriate all year long.

Your Present Required was in last year's Happy HoliGlaze holiday collection. This glitter topper is full of blue, purple, pink, and silver glitters. Again, look how dense the glitters are - just 1 coat! Love it!!!

Do you already own some of these polishes? If not, NOW is your chance to snag them up! Of course, some of them will still be around for a while but you never know when your fave shade will disappear!

There are also going to be 2 4-pack sets available exclusively at Ulta. Glisten Up! will have Heart of Africa, Luxe & Lush, Pizzazz, and Fairy Dust. Feeling Sparkly! will have White on White, Your Present Required, I Pink I Can, and Techno. Each of these sets will retail for $19.95.
