HOLOOOOOOOOO! YES! It's the 2013 Halo Hues from Color Club!

As most of you probably do, I follow a TON of blogs. One afternoon, I was catching up on a few blogs and up pops Taneja's Bride with her review of one of the new 2013 Color Club Halo Hues polishes.

She had a link in her post about where to buy the set for a pretty good price and FREE shipping. I IMMEDIATELY jumped up and shook the crazy out of Lacque Enthusiasm and said, "WE NEEEEEED THESE!!!!!!!!"

Several days later, here we are. These colors are darker and more pigmented than the 2012 Halo Hues but they still hold their holo. You will see below how even inside lighting really brings out their holo goodness.

Let's get started!

First up is Miss Bliss. A darker pink that the original collection and perfect for the upcoming Valentine's Day holiday. This is swatched in 2 even coats with no top coat.

Here we have Kismet, a sort of yellow holographic. In some light, you can get a bit of green to shine through. I'm happy to have a different color in a holographic, especially in a mainstream brand. A few indie makers have made some perfect yellow holos in the past. This is 2 coats with no top coat.

OH how I love this blue. Again, this is much darker and more pigmented than the original collection and I LOVE it! It's called Over the Moon. Two coats of this bad boy and you're set!

Here is Eternal Beauty, a deep, dark purple holographic polish. I can't say enough how I love that these polishes have actual PIGMENTS you can see through the holographic properties. You could easily wear this out without blinding someone in the eyes 24/7 while still showing off a beautiful holographic shine. Two coats, no top coat.

My first impression if this was that it looked like my OPI DS Desire...but it's definitely darker. It's called Cosmic Fate and it's a tricky color to describe. In some lights it shows hints of pink and orange and in other lights it shows nude, tan, brown, and orange. It's a perfect shade for fall in my opinion but you could probably get away with wearing this shade to work. It's not too loud of a color.

Lastly, we've got Beyond, a dark asphalt gray holographic. I don't consider this black because I don't think it's dark enough to be black. Still, it's a beautiful color that you could use as a background to showcase the other 5 colors in this collection.

Overall, I am quite pleased with this collection. Having the uncontrollable need to have entire collections, I am COMPLETELY happy. I hope you enjoy these swatches and reviews.

Let me know which one is your favorite and if you'll be buying these too!
