Too Faced Loves Sephora...and I Love Too Faced

Monday, November 18, 2013

Hi guys! Today I have swatches of probably one of the LAST to ever exist Too Faced Loves Sephora Palettes. They were on clearance on Sephora.com and I snagged mine JUST before it sold out. Although...check the site and there might be a few left! Lately I have been loving makeup palettes...more specifically, high-end makeup palettes. The quality of the shadows just amazes me and I've become completely obsessed.

Getting this palette at a discounted rate was a no brainer. On top of that, I had some discounts and other things, not to mention 4% [and sometimes 8%] cash back on Ebates. Honestly, if you haven't signed up already, do it NOW! You earn so much money on your online shopping orders -- as long as you remember to go to the Ebates site first. =)

Okay, so let's start with the shadows. All swatches are shown over the Too Faced Shadow Insurance primer. There is a little bit of fallout and for the most part the colors are very pigmented. I only had issues with the natural colors like Piano Keys and So Cal. Those I had to layer a bit but it's still not bad. I was quite pleased. My favorite shade is probably 1998. Look at all that glitter!

This palette came with 2 bronzers. One called Chocolate Soleil and the other called Sun Bunny. Both work on my skin tone but if you have a lighter complexion, maybe stick with the Sun Bunny one. You can still buy both of these in a normal compact for $30 at Sephora.

This blush has a lot more shimmer in it than it looks in the palette. I'm not sure how often I'd use this one compared to my normal every day blush, but it's good to have variety.

So, good right? I know a bunch of you probably already have this but I got excited about a new palette for my collection. What else should I consider getting? Let me know!

  1. I love the Chocolate bronzer. I have a full sized one that smells like cocoa.
