Happy Friday! Let's call today...Freshen Up Friday! I have been loving sheet masks lately and I needed to fill up my Sephora cart with things so I figured I'd try out some of their masks. Today I have the Sephora Green Tea Mask!
This mask is supposed to be good for blemishes, acne problems, a way to soothe your troubled skin. I definitely needed that this week so I thought I'd give it a go.
If you need directions, it's on the back. So I usually take my showers at night to save time in the morning. After I get out, I'll do a face mask or some sort of treatment since I do my face cleansing in the shower too.
Look how nicely bundled it is. It is also SOAKING wet when you remove it from the package - that's a good thing!
And voila! My beautiful masked self! I left it on for 15 minutes and then removed it. It was still pretty moist after removal so I took some of the excess juice and patted it on my skin. I let my face air-dry.
I'd say, in order to see any results, I'd have to use this continuously for at least a month. I bought other masks to try so stay tuned next week for another scary face mask selfie!
Grab this and other masks at your local Sephora store or online for just $6! They usually have bundled deals too so wait for a good sale!

Love Beauty Blenders? Love Benefit Cosmetics? you need to check out this LE Sephora exclusive kit that inckludes 2 Beauty Blenders 0.25 oz Benefit The POREfessional and 0.13 oz Benefit benetint. It's only $38 so grab it while it's still available!

Hey all! So, I have a few Too Faced shadow palettes that I absolutely love. When I saw this online for the first time, I knew I had to have it...of course because it's CAT EYES! Finally, I was able to get it. I had a Sephora gift card, duh! Check out my quick swatches below! Hopefully I'll be able to do a look with these soon. Baby girl is causing some dry patches on the face - sads!
So, let me start out by saying how much I LOVE the packaging. I don't own small palettes like these from Too Faced but now that I have one, it's safe to say I'll be collecting more! I also love the magnetic closure. Feels very safe to travel with.
When you open it up, there is a little insert to show you the different looks you can do with this palette. Of course, there is a mirror right behind it.
I also love how the labels are set up. On the left side they have Day, Classic, and Fashion and then on the right it tells you the wet/dry colors, which is awesome. So, onto some basic swatches for you all!
Here you've got the highlight shades. I'd actually use Kitten as a base. I'm sure in the past I've gone to a light pink shade for a natural makeup look. Purr is a nice subtle shimmer shade and Meow is a matte shade but a little powdery in my opinion. Use that with a light hand.
Throw these next 3 shades on your lid and you are ready to party! I am very happy to see such gorgeous shades...not that I'm surprised or anything. I would honestly use all 3 of these shades together. Tiger's Eye as my crease color, Pussy Cat as my lid color, and Kitty Glitter as a highlight/inner corner color. It's sheer enough that it wouldn't be too overpowering.
Here are the wet/dry liner colors. Leopard and Jungle Love have a bit of glitter in them while Panther is your basic black matte shade. Using these wet would really bring out the glitter in the first two shades. As a dry shadow, you can use these to smoke out your looks in addition to using them for lining your eyes.
I can't wait to play around with these shades! I will most definitely be collecting more of these smaller themed palettes from Too Faced.
It's $36 and well worth the price. You can buy it at several locations including Sephora and the Too Faced website.

Hey guys! Here's another thing I purchased using one of the Sephora gift cards I got for Christmas. This was also part of the 20% off all sale items clearance event. I also just found out that Sephora won't be selling Lorac anymore. But, Kohls will, so go check out your local store!
Okay, the Lorac Mint Edition palette. This one from Sephora looks different and bigger than the one on the Lorac website. The one on Lorac's website also comes with a cute clutch and is now only $18. I love minty things and I knew that I wanted this but I always convinced myself that I didn't actually need it.
Tell me this isn't the cutest palette ever! It looks just like a little clutch! It opens up just like a normal palette. Let's take a look at the inside.
Ohhhhhhhh......aaaahhhhhhhh! Look how pretty! You get 8 eye shadows, a blush, and a highlighter plus a full sized liquid lipstick in the box. You have a variety of matte and shimmer shadows which is always nice for a full face palette.
The matte shadows are actually pretty nice. The two on the left are very nice highlighting colors. I was afraid I wasn't going to like the mint green as a shadow, but it's really quite light. The two shadows in the right are also very nice and neutral. Mixed with the shimmer shadows, you can create the perfect eye look.
Here are the amazing shimmer shadows. The bottom two colors that have actual specks of glitter in them are so nice. The glitter isn't too obnoxious so you can still create pretty subtle looks with just a hint of glimmer.
Blush and highlighter. PRETTY!!!!! They both have a good amount of shimmer in them so apply it carefully. You still get a good color payoff even though it's light and delicate.
Lastly, here is the liquid lipstick. I have not tried this on my lips yet, but from just playing around with this swatch, boy does it look pretty. I'm sure the color that shows up on the lips is gorgeous. I'd imagine that it doesn't stay on too long though. If you eat/drink right after you apply this, you may have to touch it up afterwards.
So, what do you think? I am so happy I decided to get this. Do you have this palette? What do you like about it?
