Happy Wednesday everyone! Today's mani is one I m so freaking excited to show you. First off, I am using the Disney Collection by Jamberry wrap in Sapphire Sea. If you love mermaids and Ariel, you have GOT to get this design! I thought it would be amazing to add a little bit of nail art so I attempted a gradient. Let's just say I was really impressed with how well it came out!

There are 3 designs that come with this sheet of wraps. I love each one of them and they complement each other so well.

It's a subtle mermaid design...well, except for the scales, haha. I love the sparkles. This would totally make you feel like a mermaid!

So here is my final mani! Isn't that gradient so amazing? I used 3 Jesse's Girl Cosmetics Satin Finish polishes - Sea Glass (green), Azure (blue), and Amethyst (purple). After I completed the gradient, I topped it off with the Zoya Satin Seal top coat.

Are you starting to see why I gave these wraps another chance? I feel like it inspires me to do more nail art and I definitely want to branch out and do more. I also feel like there is less pressure to do all my nails with nail art. The wraps allow me to quickly throw on a design and then I can do a little bit of a nail design on the remaining fingers.

AHHH!!!! Ariel seems like one of the MOST popular polishes from Sea Lore Polish and it's finally mine! I am a Disney freak and since we only live 2 hours from Disney World, it would be silly of me not to own this. I'm thankful for the giveaway for getting this into my collection.

This glitter polish isn't quite dense enough for it to be on its own, and if you're going to use it as a topper, you've got to choose the right shade so that all of the beautiful colors come through. It took me a good 5 minutes to search my inventory for the perfect color. Then I found it. Milani Mint Candy. It's got a little bit of shimmer but not too much that it would take away from Ariel. I have 2 coats of Milani Mint Candy and 1 coat of Ariel. All are topped with Glisten & Glow HK Girl. I think I made a pretty perfect pairing of polish, don't ya think? Ariel is just BEAUTIFUL!

Inspired by Mickey - Saran Wrap and Dots Mani

Hi guys!!!! Today's nail art post is all about Mickey! As I was writing my earlier posts, my eye caught a bottle of the shampoo that you get in the hotel rooms at Disney. If you didn't already know, I LOVE Disney. We have the annual FL resident pass and go quite often. It's only a couple of hours away so magical weekends are never too far out of sight.

Surprisingly, out of the over 500 bottles of polish I have, I don't have a perfect match for the blue on the shampoo bottle. Scouring my IKEA Alex, I found 2 blues that would work together. Since this was a shampoo bottle themed mani, I figured I could use the colors to create a "soapy" saran wrap mani as a base for my Mickeys.

Okay, so I started out with 2 coats of Sweet Nothing and let that dry.

Then, I took saran wrap and added Sugar Rush. After that's dry, add top coat to smooth out the two colors.

Take a really good white polish and start making your little Mickey designs. Add random dots of different sizes too! Seal it off with your favorite top coat!
