Purchased

Good morning! Can we start the week off with some more Lippie Stix? So, okay - I loved my last batch of Lippie Stix that I got in the satin finish but for some reason my lips decided to just dry up on me and reject the beautiful Lippie Stix I had on 2 weeks ago - I tried on Cake for the first time. Anyway, I'm waiting for that whole situation to be over with - thankfully it's about done. I decided to purchase a few of the sheer and glossy finish ones to see if it would help keep my lips more hydrated during the day. I'll be testing it out soon but here are some basic swatches for now.

I bought the Lippie Stix primer too just in case that could help with the satin finishes. I'll keep you posted on that. In this post i have 2 sheer and 3 glossy finish colors to show you. I chose fairly neutral shades for myself or ones that I have similar shades in of other products. Let me know if you have any of these!

The shades I bought were Kiddo, Juice Bar, Skimpy, BFF, and Bound.

They definitely look intense right here but man, I'm so happy with the way the initial swatch went.

Just look at how casual these colors are. I think they're great for every day wear and great for a hint of color during the summer. Like I said, when I use these, I'll be posting on Instagram so keep an eye out there!

Out of these shades I picked out, which would you reach for? If the different finishes have performed differently on you, let me know! I will definitely be trying out the satins again but I'm looking forward to these sheer and glossy finishes for sure!

  1. Those are so pretty! I bought the satin finish, Frida, a couple of months ago. I love the color, but there's something in the formula that dries out my lips which is surprising because it's not a matte shade. So I don't wear it very much, boo hoo.

  7. I have a hyper glossy Lippie Stix. It is shiny and slippy but I find it oddly drying. It's a pretty colour, tho.
