Happy Wednesday! I'm going to try to feature a weekly mani for as long as I possibly can. It will take a lot of commitment but I think I can do it! Yes, I actually did all 10 of my nails! Today's Jamberry wrap feature is this month's sister's Style - Pattern Envy. I loved it mostly because it is a matte finish and it's got mint in it.

Here are just a few up-close shots of this design. I love the chevrons and I love how there are 6 different prints on this wrap.

For the polish portion of this mani, I decided to use two mint shades. One is The Mural of the Story, one of the new ones from FingerPaints and the other is JulieG Shark's Cove because of the shimmer.

I applied my wraps to my ring finger and thumb first. I made sure they were smooth and "set" before I did anything with polish. I then applied a slightly thick coat of the FingerPaints polish and then dabbed on dots of Shark's Cove. I took a dotting tool and did a little swirl to get shimmer all over my nail. After I was sure everything was dry, I applied top coat to all my nails with polish. I left my wraps alone.

What do you think of this look? Tell me honestly now, would you try this? I love having a cute nail design as an accent. This is a design I definitely don't have the talent for. I do have to admit that a couple of polished nails got messed up by me either trying to take pictures, or just typing on the keyboard. It was kinda nice with the wraps to just set it and forget it.

Hello friends! A couple months ago, I got some Dr. Brandt items to try out. Today I have the Dr. Brandt PoreDermabrasion exfoliator to show you. I'm always looking for good exfoliators for my face because I have terrible skin. This exfoliator is designed to refine the appearance of pores, deep clean your pores, and smooth skin texture - all things I'd want for an ideal skin care product.

So for this product, you really only need a dime-sized amount. The way you apply it really spreads it out evenly over your face. You can always add more.

It is recommended you use this a couple times a week but allow 3 days in between. You don't want to over-exfoliate and damage your skin. When I'm not using this, I use another gentle cleanser on my face. Leaving this "mask" on after massaging it in feels a bit weird. There's no lather, no real indication that you've rubbed something all over your face. After it rinses off, your skin immediately feels smoother and pampered.

I always start with this amount and then add more if I need too. I'd rather not waste such an incredible product, haha.

Have you ever used Dr. Brandt products before? What is your favorite exfoliating skin product? I have a few and this one definitely makes the list! This container holds 2 oz of product and runs for $58 - not terrible in terms of high quality skin care products. It'll last a while since you only use it twice a week and a very small amount each time.

Ready for a few new shades from FingerPaints? I have 8 shades here with a special twist. Some of the shades are neon colors so I also got to try their new base coat and top coat for neons. I'll let you know how I liked them! For now, I've got pics for your viewing pleasure!

So let's start out by talking about the base coat for neons. At first glance of the bottle, it look like a white polish. When applying it, it actually looks and feels like a cross between a white polish and a base coat. I'm not sure how to explain it, but you can tell when you're painting it on. This picture is just 1 coat and that's what I did for a few of the swatches below. With this, you have to make sure it is COMPLETELY dry before applying any color.

Dye-ing to Know is a serious bright neon red. It hurts my eyes just looking at the picture. So this is 2 coats of polish over 1 coat of the neon base. You pretty much can't tell that you have a white base underneath but when you apply your color, make sure you hit all areas you painted the white base. Otherwise, you're going to have to do quite the cleanup. I then applied the top coat for neons which has a UV protectant to keep your mani looking vibrant all the time.

As with all yellows and neon yellows, this one was a bit splotchy. To the Plinth Degree is probably one of the most neon yellows I own now. I only used one coat of the neon base so if I had used 2, this may have turned out differently.

For the third neon, Clay On Words, I decided to try it without the neon base coat. This is still 2 coats. I thought maybe because it had some shimmer to it, it would turn out okay. I actually thing it turned out just fine. I did still apply the neon top coat to this though.

The Mural of the Story is probably my favorite of the bunch for obvious reasons. Shown is 2 coats with normal base and top coats. This shade will be making another appearance later in the week for a different kind of manicure. Yep, I did a FULL mani on all 10 fingers this week!

A-Cry-Lic A Girl is a shimmery, bright, bubblegum pink shade that I simply adore. There is so much shimmer in this and it only took 2 coats for full opacity.

Umber-Ella is a neutral gold glitter polish - it's got a lot of glitter but is very easy on the sparkle. This is 2 coats applied alone. It reminds me of a few textured polishes I have without the texture.

This and the next shade are both glitter toppers but with tinted bases, which I wanted to show off. I usually don't apply toppers to just my bare nails but you'll see. This one is called I Am So Enameled By You. It is a mixture of purple and gold glitters and is in more of a pink-ish tinted base. This would look great over any pink or purple shade - you could even use it over black. Here is 2 coats.

Finally, it's Off to Collage! This one has a more purple tinted base and is packed with a lot more purple glitters. I think the glitter to base ratio is higher too - this is also 2 coats on just my bare nail.
