Hey guys! Today I have a makeup review for you from Besame Cosmetics. I first got to try Besame in my September Wantable box. I received a Sweetheart Balm and I loved it! It was different than any other lip balm I've tried in the past.
When I was deciding which products I'd most like to review, I knew that the first item would have to be a lipstick. I chose the Classic Red Velvet color with a little help from my friend. I think it's always good to go with a red lip. This one isn't too bright or too deep which makes it perfect for every day wear. Don't you just LOVE the packaging? The wear on this is also great. If I would have retouched it during the day, I would have done it after about 4 hours, which included eating lunch and drinking sweet tea. This retails for $22.
So, after much deliberation, I decided that it would be good for me to try a translucent powder -- the Brightening Violet Powder. I was more intrigued by the violet part of this. I know that some powders can be over scented but this one is a breeze! It's sweet, subtle, and very light. I applied this once to set my foundation. After running errands, I did not need to apply it again, however, it probably wouldn't have hurt. This retails for $22.
