Hey guys! Happy Memorial Day! Today I have a very special post and giveaway for you! Pomegranate Nail Lacquer and Cellairis have teamed up pairing PNL polish to very blingy iPhone cases! I don't own an iPhone so at the end of this post, I'll be giving this one away to one of you!

I chose the DeBari Argyle Americana iPhone case that was paired with PNL Rose Garden Romance because I loved the red and the very blinged out argyle pattern.

Below is a swatch of Rose Garden Romance and a little nail art inspired by the iPhone case. This was a pretty time consuming project because in order to achieve the nail art look I was going for, I had to fish out hex glitters from glitter polishes. Unfortunately, I don't yet own any loose glitters. I better get on that...

Ferrari Nail Art -- Freehand

Okay guys, how ya doin' today??? Today's nail art design was inspired by the Ferrari logo. I used my new nail art brushes for the first time and I LOVE them.

So, how many of you are car enthusiasts? I don't know TOO much about them, but I do know the logos of different brands.

A guy I work with manages a page for Ferrari enthusiasts and said, "Hey, if you do Ferrari nail art, I'll share it!" Well, duh! I at least had to try it.

I rarely do freehand nail art, but for my first try at it, I think I did alright.

Random, right? Let me take you for a ride on my train of thought. So, I wore my cream dress with cream wedges today to work. I like wearing cute Springtime dresses...especially when the weather is a beautiful 82!

I was thinking about which dress I wanted to wear next. I decided on the dark pink...almost red lace dress I wore to my grandfather's 90th birthday party up in MD at the beginning of March.

This led me to look down at my desk to where I still have the 2 wrapped Chinese rice bowls with chopsticks we got as party favors.

DUH! Nail art! The border on these bowls looked easy enough for me to do at 8:00 in the evening and the colors were pretty basic.

Without further ado, here are the pics. It was pretty difficult to get a good angle while holding this awkward thing, but I think you'll get the idea. Enjoy!

Gong Xi Fa Cai! Xin Nian Kuai Le! No matter which way you say it, Happy [Chinese] New Year!

I wanted to do my first Chinese New Year mani very traditional. I decided to use red and gold for my colors. Red is for good luck and you see gold on the lucky red envelopes kids get during this celebration.

On my nails, I painted all my fingers red except for my ring finger. On my pointer and middle finer, I wrote Xin Nian Kuai Le which literally means happy new year.

The character for snake is on my pinky and my ring finger holds a snake made from hex glitters.

I plan to do at least one more for you which includes Gong Xi Fa Cai which is also another way to say happy new year.
