So, a little while back I had two Fierce Lipsticks that were way too fierce for me, lol. This time around, I've got a metallic gunmetal gray shade...still a bit fierce but a little tamer than the wild purple from before. I also have some pretty bold glosses.

There are several eyeshadow palettes that contain 10 shades that complement each other. This one here is the Top Ten Satin Eyeshadow Collection in the shade Lap of Luxury. This is available at Walmart for only $6! The color payoff with these is pretty phenomenal for a $6 palette. The metallic shades really catch my eye! This may become my go-to neutral palette for a while!

All of the shades glide on real smooth and have a great color payout. Just look at the spectrum of shades. I definitely won't have any trouble finding the right shade for my mood.

I tried to set up the shades from lightest to darkest. You get the idea. For me, I'd probably Belle, Mellie, and Georgia the most. They aren't too pink but it gives my lips just enough color for a natural look. Cameron and Wren are also great neutral shades to keep in your lipstick collection.

NYC New York Color - Get It All Lip Color

Hey all - happy Tuesday! This morning, I actually had to look at my phone to figure out what day it was! Okay, so today's post is all about some lipsticks - Get It All Lip Color by NYC New York Color! This brand is one of my favorites because they are affordable and they have pretty good quality products.

There are 10 shades in all and I have 4 of them to show you today. I'm really starting to build a good collection of lippies and honestly, I love it because until I try a product, i don't know if it's going to work for me or not.

Since these are not "matte finish" lipsticks, they do work better on me and the color is pigmented but light enough I can wear it for any occasion. They glide on smooth and evenly so for only $2.99, this is a steal!

I got a good variety of shades here ranging from an orangey-red to a flattering nude. This nude leans more pink so it doesn't make me look dead, haha! This pink shade might be a bit too pink for my liking, but I can mix it with another lippie to get my perfect color.

Hey all! FINALLY - I have most of the Urban Decay Gwen Stefani lipsticks to show you. I took advantage of the $12 sale at Sephora and 5 out of the 8 were available. I have a few quick swatches for you so hopefully you can still find your favorites online or in Sephora stores.

I love the design of the packaging though it does feel very lightweight, which can be a good or a bad thing. Some may think it feels cheap while others may think it's the perfect balance for a carry-in-my-purse type of lipstick. I'm pretty in the middle and appreciate it for what it is - especially at a less than $12 price tag!

Here are the 5 shades I was able to grab. The only ones missing are: Ex-Girlfriend, Phone Call, and Plaid. Maybe one day I'll be able to get them somewhere.

Overall, I am happy with the performance of these products. I love that 714 is matte though I haven't tried it on my actual lips yet. The rest are nice cream shades and didn't take a lot to get a good color payoff.

Burt's Bees Lipstick - Fuchsia Flood

I was at Target a couple of weeks ago, of course, and I decided I was going to buy a Burt's Bees lipstick because I had seen all the love it had gotten from some of my beauty blogger friends. I already love Burt's Bees products so much so I was willing to splurge a little on a product that I wasn't 100% sure I would love. I got this baby for about $9.

I chose the color Fuchsia Flood. Sounds intimidating but looking at the swatches on the display, it didn't look too bright, so I went with it!

After coming home and opening it up, I'm happy I got this shade. It's a really nice pink that doesn't necessarily look too wild.

As you can see, the lipstick comes off a bit sheer, which is a real winner for me. The scent of the lipstick, because I know this is a a deal breaker for some, is very light. It's got the slightest fruity scent to it but you really have to sniff hard to get it. Very pleasant for those who don't like scented lipsticks.

And finally, a lip swatch! It glides on so smooth and it doesn't feel drying at all. The color stays on pretty well, but I had to reapply after meals and stuff. I love that it isn't SUPER saturated with the hot pink shade because for me, this is color enough.

Hey guys! So tell me, who is your perfect pair? In case you haven't already guessed, this post is all about perfect pairs. Jesse's Girl and JulieG have put together 3 perfect pairs of lipsticks and nail polish. They are perfect for Valentine's Day...or really any day. If you like pink, then I suggest you get all 6 of these items.

Let's begin with the lipsticks. This is my first time ordering lipsticks from Jesse's Girl so I had no idea what to expect. First of all, I love how clean and simple the packaging is for these. I am laways apprehensive when it come to bright pink/red lipsticks. Lip swatches are not my strong suit, but I have arm swatches for you!

Each swatch is about 3 swipes. Look at how creamy and opaque these are! When it gets clsoer to Spring time, I'll have to put these on. Maybe I'll post it on my Instagram or something, haha.

Now for the polish. I absolutely love the way JulieG polishes apply. These three are no different. They are great creamy polishes that apply opaque in 2 coats. All swatches are shown with JulieG Jet-Set top coat.

Anthony is a beautiful light pink-peachy polish. This polish is paired with the light pink Cleopatra lipstick.

Fred is a gorgeous bright pink polish that just screams Valentine's Day and Spring, and Easter....all things Springy! Of course, this one is paired with Ginger, a rosey pink lipstick.

Wherefore art thou, Romeo? Oh right there, with your coral, pink-looking self! On camera it shows up more orange, but in person, it's the right combination or coral and pink. I love this one. It is paired with Juliet, an orangey-red lipstick.
