Hey guys! This is just going to be a quick recap of each day for our first week on Nutrisystem. We started with the Fast Five [lose 5 pounds in your first 7 days] and that turned into the Fast Ten and Above for my husband! Check out each daily food vlog if you missed any or all of them. Alright, I'm just going to jump right in to Day 1. Have you been following my daily food vlogs every day? If not, here is our first day. I struggled a little bit with being hungry, but hubby was perfectly fine. We discovered that he LOVES the shakes and I could live without them. Overall, I am proud of us getting through the first day.
Welcome to Day 2! We both did a morning weigh-in to see if anything happened. Well, YES! We both lost some pounds so it seems the Fast 5 is doing its job. Still getting some food cravings!
Day 3 was very successful! I started drinking a lot of water to curb my cravings. It seems to have worked but the temptations of good food at work is testing my will.
Day 4 was a lot better. I went to an Indian Buffet for lunch for my friend's birthday. I was so disciplined and only got 1 plate...as opposed to my regular 2 or 3 FULL plates. I'm very proud of myself. Hubby is still sticking with it and has been losing weight every day. He still struggles with eating all 4 servings of veggies a day, but it's getting better.
Day 5 and it's Friday! I'm so sleepy, so tired, and all I wanna do is eat a bunch of junk. Okay, not really. I kinda don't miss trying to scrounge for snacks at 9 in the evening.
Day 7 is the last day on our Fast Five! We're going to weigh ourself in the morning on Day 8 to see if we really lost 5 pounds! If you've been keeping up with our vlogs, you'll know how much we've lost so far! We went grocery shopping for our PowerFuels and SmartCarbs and I can't believe how much produce we came home with! I'm so happy at our progress so now that we're on the regular 28-day program I hope we can maintain this weight loss. Also, hubby went down a pants size! =)
Day 6 and our week is almost over! It was an easy day because we were so busy. Check out our vlog to see why we were so distracted!
