Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertorial.

Okay guys! You told me you wanted grilled cheese so here it is!!! I got to review this wonderful Ozeri Green Earth nonstick pan. What better way to test out a pan than to make some tasty grilled cheese? This is a PTFE and PFOA free pan with a ceramic nonstick coating.

Here is what the pan looks like. I like having these little nubs on the surface. I think it makes it easier to move your food around, but that's just my opinion.

Here is just a closeup of the textured surface. It's already so smooth that you KNOW nothing is going to stick to it. The directions do tell you to lightly season the pan before you use it. I gently washed it with warm soap and water with the soft side of my sponge, being careful not to scratch the surface. When that was done, I used just a bit of regular vegetable oil and swiped it lightly across the surface. I guess it also helped that I used butter when making my grilled cheese but we'll get to that part later. =)

The Ozeri pan also comes with this handy pan protection sleeve. You want to make sure to protect the nonstick surface. I have had plenty of pans get nicks and scratches on them to the point where I can no longer use them.

BUTTER! Everything is better with butter...right? When my hubby wants a grilled cheese, he insists I use real butter....no excuses. So, I toss a pad of butter into a preheated pan [medium heat] and let it melt and get sizzly.

Then, I add my assembled bread and cheese to the pan. This pan is big enough to fit 2 sandwiches. Usually I do one at a time but I figured this would be a good test to see if this pan could handle all of this delicious goodness.

Let it cook slowly on medium heat you want to form a nice golden brown crust while melting the cheese inside. Check on it after a few minutes but don't move it around too much. When you've got the perfect golden crust, flip! I use a silicone flat spatula to do this.

When your second side looks just like the first, remove it from the pan, turn off the heat, and get to cutting your sandwich in half. Of course pair it with a classic tomato soup like I have here. Is it possible to be more excited about the soup than the grilled cheese? Maybe...but doubtful!

If you're looking to add a new frying pan to your collection, I do highly recommend this pan. It heats up fast and distributes the heat evenly. It's so easy to clean and it fits right in with the rest of my cookware.

To buy this pan, visit their Amazon page. It's well worth the price and it will last you a long time if you take care of it.

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
