Hey guys, Happy Halloween! If you didn't catch it last week, I posted a tutorial on a costume inspired by Michelle Phan. I am Hatsune Miku today! Here is the video if you need to catch up!

Here are the nails I decided to do to go along with my costume. Nothing too fancy, but the colors are pretty perfect. I used Turned Up Turquoise and Atlantis by China Glaze for my polish colors. I also used some studs as accents.

I actually want to begin by thanking her and all of you for giving me ideas for manis. I would never have the courage to try all these different things if you didn't show your support the way you do.

I had been thinking about this mani for a while and I started practicing on Wednesday for it. I had no such luck so I figured I'd just wing it.

I began by doing a trial hand with different designs. I asked hubby what he thought and he gave me his influential answer. Here is my test hand.


Clearly I had no idea what I was doing, but you know what? This is how you learn, people! Trial and error! I'm glad I did it this way and I wanted to show you that ugliness occurs quite often, lol.

I hope you enjoy the rest of the pictures. The one thing that got me though this mani was Lo's words to me when I told her I was a little nervous about this mani. "Just have fun with it," she says. Well, I did!
