Here is a quick mini tutorial on a very cute design.
These are the two Priti NYC polishes that I just reviewed and I thought they's make a lovely combination for a nail design.
My friend, Lacque Enthusiasm, also gave me some striping tape to play around with too. I thought I'd try it out since I've never done it before.
Unfortunately, the design we picked out could not be executed because I broke a darn nail.
Anyway, I started with a base of Orly Dazzle. Then, I dabbed a few drops of polish onto my nail and took a crumpled of piece of saran wrap to the nail. I blotched off the polish until I was happy with the look.
As you can see in step 2, I arranged the striping tape on my nail.
Then, whatever color was not used to saran wrap, polish over the tape and using tweezers, slowly peel back the tape.
Apply a top coat when everything is completely dry and you are set!
I hope you all like this look! Share and comment if you do!
