Kat Stays Polished | Beauty Blog with a Dash of Life: Kiss InstaWave Automatic Curler

Kiss InstaWave Automatic Curler

Monday, March 16, 2015

Hey friends! It's been 11 weeks since I had my baby and I'm so glad to be back in the swing of things. As you can tell from the title, this post is about the KISS InstaWave Automatic Curler. I'd been wanting to try something like this for a while because my hair is so long and I could totally use some help to curl all of my hair in a short amount of time.

The first few pictures are just of the packaging and a glimpse of the instructions. Just from the looks of the outside packaging, the product looked really promising to me.

This is what the actual curler looks like. I had to really read the instructions well before I started using it. It honestly was so confusing to me - but then again, I was suffering heavily from pregnancy brain.

After reading all of the instructions, I was ready to curl my very long hair. Here I am with freshly washed, air-dried hair. The curler has 2 settings and for this look I used the highest setting.

I started from the back for my first curl and look how awesome it came out. Basically you set the curler alongside the section of hair you want to curl and push the button on the handle of the curler to wind the device. The tricky part is figuring out which way to turn it to get the right curl. It took a few uses for me to figure out which worked best for me.

Here is one side of my head done. It took under 10 minutes for one side of my head and my arms weren't as tired as they usually are with a traditional curling iron.

Finally, here I am curling the second half of my hair. Such an easy way to curl my hair - I'm very pleased with it.

Okay, so this is one of my maternity pictures at almost 36 weeks. My hair had been curled using the KISS InstaWave Automatic Curler and I think it did a wonderful job! It rained just minutes after this picture so all my curls went flat, but it lasted quite a long time with the assistance of hair spray.

Overall, this curler is an instant time saver for me. I've used it every time I've had to get dressed up or if I just want curly hair for the day. With a new baby in my life, anything to save me time is a winner in my book.
